GSP vs. Hendricks controversial split decision win
GSP haven’t won Round 1. But the blind judges thought otherwise.
What the spectators saw:
Round 1
Hendricks won the round giving a beating to GSP.
Round 2
Hendricks won the round but it was close.
Round 3
St-Pierre won his first round of the match.
Round 4
Hendricks is 3-1 winning this round.
Round 5
GSP won the round.
After such a hard war on the battlefield, GSP wants to take time off. He probably doesn’t want anything to do in the near future with Hendricks. And it’s understandable.
UFC big boss Dana White is fuckin’ furious about GSP saying he wants to step aside and the judges decision. Dana White said at the post-fight press conference: “He could retire (but) there’s no ‘hey listen, I’m going to take a hiatus,
I’m going to take a leave of absence.’ Whatever the hell it was that he was
saying, that’s not how it works… You owe it to the fans, you owe it to that belt, you owe it to this company and
you owe it to Johny Hendricks to give him that opportunity to fight again,
unless you’re going to retire.” As the wise promoter that he is, Dana White will do the impossible to push GSP into accepting a rematch.
Check what UFC president Dana White had to said about the inaptutude of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. “Does anybody here think that Johny Hendricks won the fight? I’m blown away
that Georges St-Pierre won that fight,” White said. “Listen, I’m a promoter and
he’s the biggest star on the fuckin’ planet for me and I still don’t think
he won that fight. I want what’s fair and that wasn’t fair.”
I like it when Dana said: “I think the Nevada State Athletic Commission is atrocious; I think the
governor should step in before these guys destroy this sport like they did
boxing.”
As I’ve always said, when a fight goes to decision, they is often somebody getting screwed. Those fuckin’ rounds and judges decision system are deadly diseases in any fighting sports. And most of all, the State and the fuckin’ Government shouldn’t stick their stinkin’ noses in the sports business!
One way of the other, since GSP can’t finish an opponent. He always get his ass saved by the judges decision. Last night was no exception.
