How to get the Bicep (cephalic) Vein

Personally I'm afraid I don't have that fuckin' bicep vein.
But I'm somewhat reassured to learn that everybody have that fuckin' vein. But anywhere from 155 pounds (very low body fat) to 325 pounds (bulky strongman) I have veins on my highly visible veins on my calves, biceps, forearms, side of my head (unfortunately) and less visible ones on my abs, shoulders, thighs... But I've never seen those fuckin' cephalic veins on neither of my arms. While some bulky yet muscular men have it.
I still believe I am the exception who doesn't have the fn' cephalic biceps veins!!!

The 3 Prerequisites to have a visible cephalic vein on your biceps.

  1. Being lean, very lean.
  2. Put on muscle mass. Focus on the pump and muscle with isolation bicep exercises.
  3. Eating high sodium and carbohydrate food.

Future of Renee Young in WWE

Possible Future for Renee Young in WWE?

A lot of speculations are in the making, as the entire WWE universe awaits the official announcement regarding the future of the beloved Renee Young at WWE. After the surprise debut of her husband Jon Moxley or as we all know him, Dean Ambrose at AEW or All Elite Wrestling at their Double or Nothing event, we wonder if this means an end to Renee's career at WWE too. Renee and Jon Moxley have been married since 2017, and how many times have we seen that the husband's decision leads to an impact on his wife's career as well. And as we know WWE has been guilty of doing petty things, punishing people out of spite in the past.

The fan-favorite RAW announcer, Renee Young was however seen doing commentary just as usual, after Jon Moxley's AEW debut. But maybe fearing a negative promotion WWE might not lash out at Renee just yet. But according to the Ringside WWE news - WWE officials are now currently “figuring out what to do” with Young due to Vince McMahon’s unhappiness with the Moxley situation. Vince was extremely upset especially because he was lied to by none other than Renee's husband Jon Moxley. Jon blindsided Vince McMahon by telling him that he would be at the Hollywood making movies but he was actually making his return video.

On his Oh You Didn't Know podcast, Brad Shepard stated, "So I think it’s very interesting now because it puts Renee in a difficult situation. I am told they are looking at what to do with her as well, but they’re not happy about it. Vince is fuming over Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley telling them that he was just going to Hollywood to make a movie, but actually, he was leaving to make a movie and sign with AEW."

Renee and Jon Moxley have been dating since 2013, but the news came to light only in 2015. They got married in 2017 at a private ceremony in Las Vegas. Jon Moxley's surprise signing as an AEW wrestler after leaving WWE in April this year did put Renee's career in jeopardy. But on the other hand, according to sources Renee is still under a contract with WWE, the end of which is not certain. This means WWE terminating Renee's job in bad taste would not only be unethical but illegal as well. What are Vince McMahon's plans for Renee Young, only time would tell? Till then stay tuned for more WWE news.

Worst Wrestling Match Ever! Undertaker vs Goldberg

Undertaker (54) vs Goldberg (52) was worse than expected. It was horrible to watch as both wrestlers could have been crippled for life after this geriatric display of horror!

It's isn't Undertaker nor Goldberg fault if their match sucked!
Both wrestlers - plagued by age, ring rust and nagging injuries - were unable to carry one another in the ring.
After all it's Vince McMahon that decided to put two old washed-up "retired" wrestling legends in the ring and pay them Millions for it.
The original match was planned to last 20 minutes!!!

The blame is on you VKM so you shouldn't blame Undertaker.

Winning a fight despite a gruesome elbow dislocation

This chick had her arm broken but came back to win the fight!

5 Proven Tips To Get Bigger, Harder, More Vascular Muscles - by Dr Sam Robbins

💪 5 Proven Tips To Get Bigger, Harder, Vascular Looking Muscles =============================================== “This video was awesome, but I how can I get my muscles to look hard, full and vascular? I’m lean, but I always look “soft” and “flat”. Nothing “pops” like it does with the fitness and bodybuilder guys you see in the magazines, movies and online” Harder, Fuller, Vascular Muscles However, there are some “secrets” or proven tactics to getting harder, fuller, vascular/veiny looking muscles and I’ll reveal them today. Tip #1 - Leaner Is Better What’s important to note is that I’m 6’3”, but only weight 200 lbs. So I give the ILLUSION of “looking” bigger because I’m lean and under 10% body fat. So, that’s the first secret - you have to get lean. When you’re lean, you’ll have more muscle separation, you’ll have more veins and thus, your muscles will “pop” more because they’re not hiding under a layer of fat. Tip #2 - Hydrate Normally I’m fuller than these pictures and more vascular as the day progresses because I’ve had a lot more water, electrolytes, carbohydrates, food and minerals. These pictures were taken first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach with very little water, so I was “flat”, rather than being “full”. This is one problem with people who are always on a low-carb diet (ketogenic, paleo, intermittent fasting, etc.) . They look flat and depleted, even when they are lean. Carbs help fill out your muscles because they hold 3x their weight in water. When your muscles are hydrated, you’ll look fuller, bigger and harder.. And your blood volume will also be higher and thus, you’ll be more vascular too. HOWEVER, I put Himalayan or Celtic salt in my water and on my food. This keeps me hydrated and that’s the secret. My workouts are a lot better too. I’m stronger and I get better pumps. However, REAL salt does the opposite - it retains the water in your muscles, not under the skin. Tip #3 - Improve Insulin Sensitivity The problem with having carbs is NOT higher blood sugar, but poor insulin sensitivity. In fact, the more muscle you have and the lower your body fat, the better your insulin sensitivity, the MORE carbs you can eat, the easier it is to gain muscle and lose fat. More salt and water will also help improve insulin sensitivity, so keep doing that. Better sleep, has lots of benefits, including better insulin sensitivity as well. Tip #4 - Specific Workouts How you exercise, what you do, how often all can make a huge difference in how you look. First, you need to lift heavier weights to create a more dense, harder looking muscle. Do sets at 6-8 reps to hit your fast-twitch muscles, as well as higher 10-15 reps. Both are needed. Secondly, exercising too much, too often, too long causes stress hormones such as cortisol and aldosterone to go up, while also DECREASING insulin sensitivity and testosterone levels. The end result not only will you start to lose muscle and also gain fat, but your muscles will be depleted, flat and “stringy” looking. This gives that “skinny/fat” look, rather than “lean/hard” look. So I suggest lifting weights for about 45 min, no more than an hour, 3-4x weekly or every-other-day. Tip #5 - Improve Your Hormones Because my background as a doctor is in endocrinology - the study of hormones, this is an area I’m most passionate about. This is why steroids work so well, not only in building muscle and losing fat, but making you look harder, fuller and more vascular. However, simply optimizing your own hormones naturally, will go a long way in making improvements in how you look, feel and perform. This is how I do it because it’s so much safer, healthier, easier to maintain and you won’t have any of the negative side-effects (hair loss, zits, man-boobs, high cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.) This means higher “positive” hormones - such as Testosterone, GH, IGF, DHEA, etc., while minimizing “negative” hormones such as estrogen, prolactin, cortisol, DHT, etc.

Creatine: How to Best Use It for Muscle Growth (Avoid Side Effects)

Creatine is one of the few supplements out there that is actually well-backed by research in terms of its effectiveness. However, there’s a lot of confusion out there as to how to take creatine and how creatine works. In terms of “what does creatine do”, it simply allows a faster regeneration of ATP in our muscles. Since ATP is the main form of energy for our muscles, this enables us to perform an extra rep or two during our training. As for the best creatine to take and how to use creatine effectively, stick to creatine monohydrate and take your creatine with your post-workout meal. There seems to be a slight benefit to taking creatine post-workout, and it actually drastically improves its effectiveness by taking creatine with carbohydrates and protein. Now as for whether creatine causes hair loss or other side effects, research is inconclusive at the moment. Long-term creatine supplementation does not cause any adverse health effects but may increase DHT which is a hormone that accelerates male pattern baldness in those who are susceptible or have it in their family history. Thus, those who are susceptible may want to consider that. But more research is definitely needed – the findings aren’t as serious as many people make it out to be.

Protein Powder: How to Best Use It For Muscle Growth (4 Things You Need to Know)

Despite protein powder (or “protein shakes”) being by far the most widely consumed supplement within the fitness industry, most people are lost when it comes to how to choose the best type of protein and even moreso when it comes to how to best use protein powder to build muscle. In this video, I’ll cover everything you need to know about protein. First off, let’s discuss the best type of protein. Although there’s several types of protein out there (whey protein, casein protein, plant-based protein, egg protein, hemp protein, vegan protein, pea protein, etc.) research shows that whey protein and casein protein are the two best options in terms of essential amino acid content and elevating protein synthesis. Whey is a fast-digesting protein whereas Casein is a slow-digesting protein. Research shows that Whey protein powder is superior to Casein protein powder and also has a slightly higher leucine content, so I’d stick with Whey – and more specifically, I’d stick with Whey isolate protein since it’s the purest form of Whey protein and contains the least lactose (if that’s an issue for you). However, as you’ll see, Casein does have a special application as well which you might want to consider. As for plant-based protein powders, although they spike protein synthesis to a smaller degree as animal-based protein powders do, this can be mitigated by ingesting a greater amount of plant protein powder and/or ensuring you get enough essential amino acids through your diet. Next, when it comes to when to take it, most people think you have to take your protein shake immediately post-workout. But, research shows that it depends on whether or not you’re in a fed or fasted state. If you’ve had protein prior to your workout, a post-workout protein shake isn’t necessary and you can take it at anytime. Whereas if you worked out fasted, having it immediately post-workout is ideal. And if you haven’t eaten before the gym yet, then research suggests taking your Whey protein shake before your workout is the better option when compared to after. As for how much to take, sticking to around 20-25g is enough to maximize protein synthesis – with 40g eliciting a slightly higher response. And as for how often to take it, you can take it daily (workout or not) to help you reach you goal daily protein intake. Lastly, when it comes to what to take it with, although co-ingestion of protein powder with carbs and/or fats does slow down digestion, it does not affect protein synthesis rates. Thus meaning you can take it with whatever you’d prefer. With that being said, taking your protein powder with dairy milk when bulking and taking it with almond milk or water when cutting is a good option to help you easily increase/decrease your calorie intake.

Gladiators Were Vegan -- John McDougall MD

Gladiators Were Vegan (Barley Men) -- John McDougall MD

Published on Mar 7, 2010
Archeologists recently unearthed a burial site in Turkey containing the bodies of 60 Roman gladiators. Tests to their remains led researchers to conclude that the gladiators all ate an exclusively-plant-based diet. In fact, they used the word "vegan" to describe the gladiators. Wait, aren't vegans those guys you see carrying signs outside KFC protesting animal cruelty? Yeah. And gladiators ate a vegan diet, too. In the following video John McDougall MD describes the new find on gladiators and pokes some fun at the biases of researchers -- who stretch to come up with explanations for why the most powerful fighters of the ancient world would opt to eat a vegan diet. Of course, the gladiators weren't alone. The entire Roman army went on a vegan diet whenever they went into battle. This is a short excerpt from Dr. McDougall's fascinating talk entitled "THE STARCH SOLUTION" from the Healthy Lifestyle Expo 2009. Dr. McDougall shows how every major successful culture throughout history has relied on a largely starch-based diet to be successful.

Oatmeal miracle

Doctors and nutritionists highly recommend making oatmeal a part of your diet and having it as your healthy morning meal. The secret is simple: good-quality environmentally-friendly oats help you feel and look better on the inside and out. Oats have some unique properties thanks to the wide variety of vitamins and minerals they contain. Zinc helps cleanse the skin and remove toxins and other harmful compounds. Iron is one of the most important elements for the nutrition and saturation of moisture in skin cells. Magnesium promotes blood circulation and noticeable skin cell renewal. While protein is extremely important, your body also demands carbohydrates and fats, both of which you can find in oatmeal. Oats are also rich in antioxidants that help alleviate itching, inflammation, and high blood pressure. The slow carbohydrates found in oatmeal help curb your appetite and maintain normal blood sugar levels. All those nutrients in oats not only boost your metabolism but also prevent the accumulation of fat and toxins in the body. Thanks to the antioxidants present in oatmeal, the probability of damage to the walls of blood vessels by free radicals is reduced significantly. If you find it boring to just have oatmeal for breakfast every day, you’ll love the recipes we have put together to help you turn a boring oatmeal breakfast into something way more flavorful. Your liver is located on the right side of the body, below the diaphragm and overlying the gallbladder. It's the largest and heaviest internal organ in the human body, responsible for many important functions including detoxification, protein synthesis, nutrient storage, and more. It's one of the most vital organs in the body.

Question: What happens when someone punches you in the liver?

A well-placed shot to the liver (even one that’s not particularly hard) can put you in excruciating pain. If you've yet to experience this sensation in your life, you can consider yourself fortunate!

A blow to the liver will likely leave you breathless and incapacitated. Your body simply shuts down.

So why does this happen? Why is your liver so vulnerable?
