Personally, I've always been more impressed by the off-season bulked up shape than by the "smaller" lean as fuck bodybuilder contest-shape.

Yours truly PYGOD (6'1", 300 lbs)
during my Strongman competitor career
A bulked-up shape was what I was aiming for during my Strongman period.

However my body was tired to carry over 315-pound of bodyweight and I was ready to give a new direction to my training.

Currently, 27th November 2016, my strongman days are far behind me, I aim to get rid of "all" my body fat while keeping as much muscles as I can. I don't see any problem with getting down to below 200 pounds. Which would have been a fuckin' sacrilege to even think about a decade ago. I am now a closet ‘I Want to Build Muscles like Brad Pitt from Fight Club’ (IWBMBPFC) but with a lot more muscle and helluva strength.

MARVIN EDER

MARVIN EDER
MARVIN EDER
The Strongest Man Who Ever Lived, pound for pound.

Why MARVIN EDER is the pound for pound strongest man who ever walked the planet?

  • NO STEROIDS / NO DRUGS / NO SUPPLEMENTS - ALL NATTY for real unlike Mike O'Hearn. In the early 1950's, a pre-steroid era, there was none of these crap!! If there were any supplement at the era, it was probably protein powder tasting like horse shit!
  • NO LIFTING CHEATING ASSISTANCE LIFTING SUITS & GEAR
  • SUB-200 POUNDS OF BODYWEIGHT. Accomplished his greatest feats of strength at 198 lbs on a 5'7" frame. His peak weight was 203 lbs. Hardly a giant!
  • YOUNG AGE. Was forced to retire from competition at the early age of 22 years old.  Keep in mind that a strength athlete is at his peak and attain muscular maturity between the age of 30 to 40 years old. Recent Mr. Olympia's were all well into their 30s during their reign.
  • SHORT CAREER. MARVIN EDER was stripped of his amateur status after appearing in a Joe Weider magazine, which was claimed to violate AAU regulations. His supposedly 'professional' status denied him the opportunity to compete in the USA Olympic team or the AAU Mr. America. Silly politics!!! MARVIN EDER would undoubtedly have won many other top titles in bodybuilding and the Olympic games for America if given the chance.
  • NO SPECIALTY. He was both a bodybuilder and an Olympic-style weightlifter and trained as such. At the time, it was usual for gym rats to cross-train bodybuilding with Olympic-style weightlifting.

His best Measurements were

  • Height 5ft 7ins.
  • Weight 203lbs
  • Neck 19"
  • Chest 49" expanded
  • Waist 34"
  • Forearm 15"
  • Biceps 19" plus
  • Thighs 26"
  • Calves 17"

“Pound for pound, MARVIN EDER was probably the strongest man of all time.”
-- Pat Casey (the first man to bench press 600 pounds)

MARVIN EDER Bench Press 430 lbs at the age of 19.
MARVIN EDER Bench Press 430 lbs at the age of 19.

A complete list of MARVIN EDER's inhuman feat of strength:

  • Strict curl - 210 lbs at a York picnic.
  • Cheat curl - 255lbs
  • Bench press – 515 pounds. MARVIN EDER was the first man to ever bench press 500 pounds while weighing under 200 pounds.
  • Olympic press – 330 pounds (World Record was 370 lbs held Jim Bradford, a 270-pound superheavyweight).
  • Clean and pressed 355 lbs.
  • Clean and press two dumbbell at same time using 120 lb dumbbells for 10 reps.
  • Deep squats – 50 reps with 300 pounds.
  • Deadlift, without practice 665 lbs
  • Side laterals – reps with 120-pound dumbbells.
  • Crucifix with 2 X 100 lbs dumbbells
  • One-arm-chins – 8 consecutively with each arm (some training partners say that they saw him do 12 or more).
  • Press behind neck – 305 pounds.
  • Side press, left hand – a 220 pounds man sitting on his hand.

Parallel bar dip – single rep with 434 pounds (two men hanging from his feet plus his own bodyweight of 198 lbs) making a total of 632lbs.
MARVIN EDER single dip World Record
  • Parallel bar dip – single rep with 434 pounds (two men hanging from his feet plus his own bodyweight of 198 lbs) making a total of 632lbs.
  • Parallel bar dip – 7 Dips with 400 pounds hanging off of him.
  • 1000 body-weight dips in only 17 minutes. Breaking Jack Lalanne’s World Record of doing 1000 body-weight dips in 20 minutes.
  • Still arm pullovers – 250 pounds.
  • Wide grip pull-ups – 80 with his bodyweight
  • Wide grip pull-ups - 8 reps with 200 pounds attached to his feet.
  • Single chin with added 250lbs
  • One hand chins - 8 reps when around 200lbs bodyweight.
  • Consecutive handstand push-ups on a horizontal ladder – 25

All of this being done while in his early 20s while weighing under 200 pounds.

“One thing I can tell you: every workout I trained to the absolute limit. I never worked out light and that is how I trained. And I had enormous recuperative powers and was always ready for the next workout.”

-- MARVIN EDER

MARVIN EDER SECRETS TO MIGHT AND STRENGTH

  • Genetically gifted freak who had enormous recuperative powers. He readily admitted being an 'easy gainer'. MARVIN EDER stated “I was blessed with God-given strength... I had enormous recuperative powers and was always ready for the next workout” and that he was “not at all” an average person.
  • Limitless drive.
  • He admittedly "trained like a maniac". Stating that he trained to the absolute limit, sometimes six to seven hours per day
  • His schedule began as every other day before eventually adopting a 2 days on – 1 day off routine.
  • His workouts covered a wide range of activities, from weight lifting to powerlifting, bodybuilding, and agility, balancing and wrestling
  • Even after a workout he still had energy and the enthusiasm to do 50 sets of chins and dips.
  • Utilized a variety of rep ranges to assist his mass and strength goals.
  • He enjoyed natural foods and had a good appetite.
  • MARVIN EDER believed and still believes, one should train for health and fitness as well as size and power

That goes for all the tempo-rep, controlled-rep queers preaching their gospel shit as the absolute truth in gyms everywhere.
As you have read, MARVIN EDER didn't bullshitted around with slow motion reps and similar bullshit. MARVIN EDER always lifted until failure on everything he did! So should you!!!

MARVIN EDER was stripped of his amateur status after appearing in a Joe Weider magazine, which was claimed to violate AAU regulations. His supposedly 'professional' status denied him the opportunity to compete in the USA Olympic team or the AAU Mr. America.

Stupid politics concerning amateur and pro status stole away his opportunity to officially prove that he was a world-class bodybuilder and Olympic lifter.
At least, he had all the tools but was denied the opportunity.

Another monumental waste of talent...

Brock Lesnar is dead

After calming down, a little, since last week's Brock Lesnar humiliating defeat at the hands of Goldberg at Survivor Series 2016.
My opinion haven't changed at all...

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar

In my view, the fact that Goldberg very very easily squashed Brock Lesnar in 1:26 without any opposition is a catastrophy!!

Multimillionaire and former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar accepting to be humiliated and annihilated with such ease by an almost 50 years old retired legend is a non-sense and a joke!! For what? More Money?!? Lesnar's worth $16 Million and lives in a compound!?! Do he really need some more?!?

Brock Lesnar destroyed his own legacy and reputation at the hands of a bogus fighter, a video game character, with no real-world credentials whatsoever!

Vince McMahon decided to sink his most dominant wrestler in shit at the hands of a 12-year retired WCW creation. And by sinking Lesnar in shit, Vince McMahon also sinked all Lesnar's victims in shit (his main eventers like The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, The Shield, etc.) and also his last UFC opponent, Mark Hunt...

I was Brock Lesnar's number 1 fan!
By now, for me.
Brock Lesnar is dead! I don't even want to see him ever again in a wrestling ring.

Now Goldberg is the Alpha Male on top of the WWE's food chain.

Who's next?

All his early appearances took place in Houston, Texas. USA where he eventually turned heel before his vignettes began airing on television.

  1. An in-ring promo dressed in suit.
  2. A defeat at the end of the 450-pound One Man Gang.
  3. Turning against his jobber tag team partner Sam Houston.

Gillberg, the beta version of Goldberg

Gillberg wwe answer to wcw Goldberg
Gillberg was WWE's answer to WCW's Goldberg
from 1998-2000.
Despite being a joke and a Goldberg's parody, career jobber Gillberg (Duane Gill) became the longest reigning WWE Light Heavyweight Champion with a reign of 15 months.

Gillberg was the beta version of Goldberg.

Goldberg: The Alpha Beast
on top of the pro wrestling world's food chain.
Goldberg is billed as the greatest WCW wrestler ever, I agree, and is famous for his 173-0 winning streak in 1997-1998 and for his everlasting ability to squash any big name pro wrestler in record time.

Comparing Gillberg to Goldberg
Comparing the Beta to the Alpha

  • Win/loss record of 0-173 instead of 173-0.
  • His entrance theme was a pre-recorded crowd chanting "Gillberg" instead of "Goldberg" chants.
  • Stage hands holding sparklers then spray the entrance way with fire extinguishers instead of Goldberg's pyrotechnics.
  • Dotted line "tattoo" on his right arm parodying Goldberg's tribal tattoo.
  • Using the catchphrase "Who's First?" in reference not only to Goldberg's catchphrase "Who's Next?", but also to the fact that Gill would lose to each and every one of his opponents.
  • Used the Jackhammer (Vertical suplex follow powerslam) parodied from Goldberg finishing move, but his opponent would fall on top of him and Gillberg would get pinned.
  • Spear – parodied from Goldberg other finisher, but Gillberg would bounce off his opponent, who was unfazed by the attempt.

As you may see, Gillberg was a lot of fun. And personally I never gave a damn about any lesser weight divisions (cruiserweight, light heavyweight...) in any Combat Sports sripted or not (Pro Wrestling, MMA, Boxing and KickBoxing).

The Biggest Upset I Wish I Have Never Seen!!!

Brock Lesnar is dead
Once my hero... I don't give a fuck about him anymore.
Millions of dollars flushed down the toilet with the reputations of all the wrestlers he destroyed in the last 3 years.

For now on, Goldberg will have to destroy everybody in a matter of seconds if the WWE ever try to stay coherent in this mess...

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar Survivor Series 2016 match cancelled?

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar Survivor Series match in jeopardy.

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar Survivor Series 2016
Is Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg match cancelled?

WWE star Bill Goldberg recently spoke with NBC Sports, and during the interview he revealed that he tweaked his shoulder during the Brock Lesnar segment on WWE Raw this week.

IN CASE OF A REAL INJURY
Tweaking his shoulder during this week Raw segment pushing random security guys?!? Twearking his shoulder without having any contact with "The Beast" Brock Lesnar?!?
I did know that Brock Lesnar is an unstoppable destructive force but I didn't know he was able to injure full-grown men by eye sight only!?!
As Ric Flair stated: Goldberg isn't ready to fight Lesnar in the scripted world of pro wrestling.

IN CASE OF A KAYFABE (STORYLINE) INJURY
Goldberg faked an injury to keep his reputation untarnished since he is scripted to lose his WWE Survivor Series battle against former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar this Sunday, November 20, 2016.

As if the smaller and 49 years old Goldberg, whose last match was 12 years ago, need an excuse to being defeated by "The Beast" Brock Lesnar.

FYI Brock Lesnar:

WHAT GOLDBERG VS BROCK LESNAR SHOULD LOOK LIKE
I would appreciate to see the only realistic and believable scenario of a 30-second squash match involving Brock Lesnar destroying Goldberg in a one-sided 30-second squash match.

MEANWHILE IN THE REAL WORLD...
A few months ago, Brock Lesnar defeated the very legit Mark Hunt (number 8 ranked Heavyweight in the UFC) in the very legit sport of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in the UFC, the number 1 MMA organization in the world.

That's the reason why Goldberg should accept being victimized by "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar. After all, Goldberg destroyed every big name wrestlers in sight under 90 seconds during his undefeated 173-0 streak in WcW. As a retired pro wrestler with no intention whatsoever to return wrestling full-time, not even part-time, Goldberg should return the favor and accept to be squashed by the bigger, younger and VERY LEGIT Brock Lesnar in decisive fashion.

Mike Tyson vs Kangaroo

Can Mike Tyson beat a large Kangaroo? Will his punches have any effect?

Mike Tyson vs Kangaroo Boxing match

Kangaroo stabbing feet claws
Kangaroo stabbing feet claws
Kangaroo can kick too!

fighting_red_kangaroos

This question was on quora.com.

The most pertinent answer so far came from Stefan Pociask, a Wildlife field researcher and rehabber.

Here is Stefan Pociask answer:

Kangaroos “box” with their hind feet; not like in cartoons or trained animal acts, where they have boxing gloves on their fore paws (although their front claws are pretty impressive as well!). And they are definitely dangerous. But as long as Tyson can keep from getting disemboweled first, with the daggers on the kangaroos hind feet, if he get’s off the first few right hooks, the ‘roo should be out for the count. Unlike most large clawed animals, although they can and do bite, the kangaroo’s jaws and teeth won’t be a major weapon. So Tyson’s throat won’t be a prime target, as if he was fighting one of the big cats, for instance, although incidental damage to his throat could occur. Tyson’s neck is rather short though, so that will be an advantage. He will come out bloodied, though. It won’t be a walkabout in the park. A large aggressive kangaroo could surely take down many different men. But not all men. I think Tyson would prevail. His professional skills could actually be of use in this situation. And certainly his build and exceptional power don’t hurt either.

EDIT: In answering this question, I’m assuming that the kangaroo in the fight is not a trained “boxing” ‘roo, but rather a strong, untamed, wild animal that has reason to put up a serious fight.

In my opinion, a large male kangaroo (200-pound and up to 6'7") would probably spear to death a prime 20 years old, 220-pound Mike Tyson.

Tag Team Elimination Match at Survivor Series 1988

WWF Survivor Series 1988 - Team Demolition Vs. Team Pain (45 minutes of non-stop action)

Wow! An awesome match from almost 30 years ago when wrestlers used to be big, bulky and muscular and actually look like pro wrestlers. From a forgotten era when the tag team wrestling division was at its best. This is a 10-tag team elimination match where there is no filler, only real tag teams. In my view, it was one of the best era, if not the best, eras of professional wrestling.

Watch this match, it worth it!

Here are the 10 tag teams competing in this classic Survivor Series match
